About the President and CEO

 

David French, joined Obsidian Energy on October 2016. Prior to joining the Company, he served as President and CEO of Bankers Petroleum Ltd., which operates in Southeastern Europe. Prior to Bankers, David French held several roles at Apache Corporation. His early career achievements include working for McKinsey & Co. In addition, he built up a career at Amoco Production Company (now BP). David French’s educational background focuses on mechanical engineering and business. With David French at the helm Obsidian is surely to strike oil.
