A respected attorney and capital strategist, Sam Tabar has put together an incredible resume and career. Tabar went to school at the prestigious Oxford University and also at Columbia Law School. During this time he gained experience working as on the Columbia Business Law Review as the Associative Editor. After college he became a part of the well known law firm Skadden, Arps, Flom, and Meagher. During his time there he gained great experience working with hedge funds and other investments.
Tabar’s expertise would take him to other well-known firms. Tabar would eventually become the Managing Director of Sparx Group. During his time there Tabar brought the company thousands of potential investors and more than a billion dollars in asset managements of other partners. In 2011 he would move on to become the Director for Capital Strategy for Bank of America. During his time with Bank of America he focused on introductions to institutional investors. He had a number of important responsibilities such as side letters, investment management and employment issues.
This experience would be valuable for Tabar as he later rejoined the legal field with Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP as a Senior Associate catering to hedge funds and compliance issues.
Tabar’s knowledge and expertise extend well beyond the business world. He speaks a number of languages including be fluent in French as well as speaking Japanese.
